I have this strange attraction to weird, always have… and I cannot seem to shake it. I hope someone else enjoys these oddballion photo-manipulations as much as I do…

…As follow up to the creepy kitty painted face video yesterday, I have decided to share with you some more of James Kuhn’s painted faces!
James is in the middle of his 2nd “365 Transformations” project where he paints his face something different everyday!! He’s gained worldwide attention with his series, but this is the first time I’ve seen it, so bare with me if you already have, I’m totally addicted to his flickr set, pure entertainment. It’s crazy and so is he, but I say that in the best way possible. I adore unique, eccentric people and he definitely fits the bill! He claims to be an artist, drag queen, former nudist, born again Christian…very interesting, indeed!

…I find myself slightly obsessed with black velvet paintings, thanks to my recent visit to K, Tea? 's super sweet blog, where I thought I spotted a cheese-a-licious velvet nudie. I grew up with a couple around the house, in fact I have one packed somewhere that I should drag out, it’s just a nature scene though. Did any of your parents or even yourself ever rock the black velvet paintings? Some of them are so god awful crude, but they hold such kitschy charm.
