…umm…these are so awesomely peculiar that I can’t even handle it. I’ve been looking at brancusi7’s flickrstream for 30 minutes+ now, and I can’t stop staring. I have this strange attraction to weird, always have… and I cannot seem to shake it. I hope someone else enjoys these oddballion photo-manipulations as much as I do…

…this was a quote under his profile- “My works were designed to amuse, annoy, bewilder, mystify and inspire reflection.” Indeed. They definitely make me giggle and/or shudder.

…We had a small earthquake here this morning.  I was putting on my makeup when it started just quaking.  At first I thought there was some construction going on, on top of our apartment causing the building to shake, but then it got a little out of control.  I was so disoriented for quite a while after it.  The kitties were freaking scared, they were both wide eyed and creeping along low to the ground, poor things.    It was a little freaky as earthquakes are extremely rare here in Canada.  There is a school across the street and all the kids started majorly screaming …it was wild.  I along with quite a few people thought the world was coming to an end. Phew, not today.

Have any of you had earthquake experiences??  I know they are a lot more common in the certain parts of the world.  But they are new to me…and, yikes….

World Masks

For some reason, I have no idea why... I had a weird mask obsession this afternoon. There are so many cool, interesting and of course freaky masks from all different cultures. I stumbled across the website Masks of the World and had a ball looking at all the different styles of masks from different countries. These were a few of my favs and some odd ones that caught my eye.

Underwater Oddities

My weird obsession for the day...cute and freaky underwater aliens. Its so vast, the amount of creatures in the sea. I love all the colors and patterns and very much would love to go in a glass submarine someday. I would love to hang with the dude above, he looks like he'd show you a great time.
