World Masks
For some reason, I have no idea why... I had a weird mask obsession this afternoon. There are so many cool, interesting and of course freaky masks from all different cultures. I stumbled across the website Masks of the World and had a ball looking at all the different styles of masks from different countries. These were a few of my favs and some odd ones that caught my eye.

Umm masks freak me out dude. I like the second one though, it's kinda cute, I want to pet it. Is that weird?
i agree masks are a tad freaky but they are intriguing to me too..and some of them just make me giggle.

I used to collect masks when I was a kid ..you know, the 80's kind with ribbons and musical notes ..lol ...THAT FIRST ONE IS TO DIE FOR!
Masks scare the CRAP out of me!! Even the Mardi Gras masks my sis gets! She loves them and they have all these jewels and stuff...but whenever she wears one on Halloween, all I can think of are those masked crazy dudes on 'A Clockwork Orange'!! AHHH!!!
these are amazing!!! i was just thinking of doing a post on masks and wigs for sexy time, but then this fabulousness appeared! i love your choices! they are amazing and i wish i had them all.

Oh and just like maegan I too collected those crap 80s ones. They were lisa frank meets harlequin.
Ps:Do u plan on growing a collection?
woo...those eighties mime style ones with the pastely colors and ribbons, i think i had one..they are icky to me now.
i would love to grow a collection melods..i think i just have 2 right now..i gotta start going to antique shops more often...to scout for gems.
eeeck...some would make want to sleep with the light on...errr-errr

the last 2 are bali masks, my mom has a whole collection when she used to dance. awesome post!!!
