I think Bill Plympton's cartoons are Hilarious, especially his "Guard Dog" and "Guide Dog" shorts. I find it is very much in a caricature style...as you can see if you watch this funny little short. He kinda brings out the grotesque in a similar manner as Ren & Stimpy, which I still get a kick out of to this day...with the close ups of boogers, eyeballs and ear wax, etc. I really would love if he could do a cat version...I'm sure he would nail it.

Also check out "Guide Dog" if you get a chance and liked this! I went to an Animation Festival with my bf to see it, and the whole crowd was in complete stitches.
