…Yay, so its the weekend, not that it matters to me all that much cause I’m still unemployed but it seems I can relax more on the weekend, rather than looking for jobs and thinking that I should be working. I am off to go buy a hand sander, recommended to me by Marsi at the Cottage Cheese…I purchased a get this $4 night stand, its really cool and vintage but it needs to be done over. I’m leaning towards doing it over in Turquoise but not 100% yet. I redid a bookshelf before and it turned out like crap, so I’m hoping with an electric sander it will turn out a lot smoother. Sanding manually by hand is such hard work and not very fun at all. Anyhoos I’m pumped, and other than starting this lil’ project I don’t have much planned for the weekend. I wouldn’t mind getting out for a walk in the woods or something…I’ve been in the house way too much lately.
I’m blabbing so I’ll stop now but I wish you all a great weekend no matter what you choose to do. Enjoy!!!

I like the sound of your project here! Hopefully you'll post some photos - maybe before and after shots? :) ...and thank you for the TGIF kitty cats - I gotta have my Friday pussy cat jag from Kitty Stampede or else I get a bit funny! P.S. Saw a doco on TV last night about a tiger reserve in Texas and they were looking after two tiger kittens - soooo adorable - I had no idea they were so affectionate! More than house kitties even?
I love your TGIF kitties!
Have a relaxing weekend and happy sanding. Hope your project comes out exactly as you want. And a walk in the woods sounds lovely. Enjoy!
I think someone stole one of my cats as that long hair black one is the spitting image of my baby!
Cats will sit on anything to find a cosy, warm spot and that photo of cat on pig proves it. Adorably funny. They both look blissed out.
Good luck with the job search. I know the feeling about weekends - the days all mash together because you don't go to work. I try to keep my spirits up by doing non job related activities and spending time with friends.

Those are all such cute pictures, but the third one down, the kitty with the feather on it's tongue, that is too cute and too real.
I love all the kitty pictures, especially the one sleeping on the pig. Good luck on both your project and your job hunt.
Hi,
We just popped over to say hello from the Cat Blogosphere! We love your TGIF pics! Shudn't they be TKIF pics though? (Thank Kitty it's Friday)MOL!
Mom said she SO understands about not job hunting at the weekend. She started a new part time job this week after 6 month unemployment (due to having to have a bone graft after bone cancer) ~ and she said job hunting is necessary but wearying. She said trust providence ~ you will get a nice job if you keep looking ~ so good luck.
Those were great Friday kit pics!!
Called over to say hello and welcome to Cat Bloggland.. Love your pictures.. Have a great weekend. LOve GJ xx
We saw you on the Cat Blogosphere so came for a visit. Those are lovely funny photos. We like the grumpy looking cat leaning on the chair the best.

Saw your link over at the CB and wanted to stop by for a visit. Hope we can become friends. You sure are a bunch of cuties. Love the blue eyes the first kittie has. Have a fun weekend. I will put you up on my link so I can find my way back for another visit.
Those are great kitty pictures. I like the one of the pig and kitty but also the one of the gray cat looking very ticked. I will be glad to put you on my blog log if you care to put us on yours. Thanks. Looking forward to the table details.

Good luck with the job hunt AND the project!
Yes it's strange isn't it how even when we don't have a 'job' we feel that we can relax more of a weekend. I hope you're enjoying it dear and got out and about for a while. I too must get one of those mini sanders....there are a few projects hanging about...
Good luck with the purchase! Did you manage to get up to much fun this weekend in the end besides kitty sleepover? How is the job hunting going?! xxx
Thank you for all your positive juju bebe! I miss our constant deskjockey jibberjabber. I'm happy with this new job... Let's see where it takes me.
Cheers on all the blog love lately.

how did the hand sander work? i bought one last year and i love it, though it scares me with all of its talk of how it could spontaneously combust!
