This is Kitt

…My one and only little niece is coming to visit for a couple of days! Her name is Kitt. I call her Kitty for short. ;) She is 3 years old. I am so excited to see the little munchkin. She has gotten a lot bigger from when I seen her last. My sister and her family live a 14 hour drive away, so I haven’t seen them since Christmas. She is obsessed with talking about kitty cats with her auntie (Me) on the phone, and she sounds very excited to see Turtles and Tuna again. I can’t wait to go do fun stuff with her and spoil her a bit.

Here are a few pics, including from when she and Turtles were just babies.

…he got a little braver and came out from behind the chair. (don’t mind our german shephard’s dog fur everywhere on the carpet, it was his bedroom, R.I.P. Max)

…I look like I’m goth and biting her head, but in reality i was giving her a big kiss and taking the photo..hehe.

…I took this Kitt photo when we went to the Hot Air Balloon Festival, last summer.

…this is her now, at the water park looking like Pebbles, taken by my sister. I love her little Giraffe swimsuit. The changes kids go through is incredible. I don’t have a kid of my own quite yet (still unsure) but I’m sure I will be one of those moms that take a gazillion billion photos of their kid. For now I just take that many photos of my cats. :)

…I’m loving this picture by Luciano Val + Franco Musso, it makes me happy!  Not quite as happy as my man-kitty Turtles does below, but it’s pretty cool.

…I’m not in much of a blogging mood this week, so sorry for my lack of everything. 

I started a temp job this week and I’m not gonna lie to you, I don’t like it, at all.  I just gotta keep telling myself it’s super temporary and its paying some bills…I’m about 90% sure I’m going back to school in the fall, so it’s giving me hope for the future.

…So I just wanted to do a little post on the new addition to my sister in law’s kitty family, as I had mentioned yesterday.  He is pure Runt!  I have such a soft spot in my heart for runts, that I can’t even take it.  He is so special and so sweet and it drives me nuts that he’s not mine!!  But at least he’s family.  He really took a liking to my husband Steve and snuggled on his lap for literally 3 hours. My adult cats weren’t too impressed but it will take some time and I’m sure they’ll love him, eventually.  My male Turtles is quite territorial and growled and hissed a lot at the poor wittle dood.  He will be attending our weekly kitty sleepovers so they will get used to him..haha, I know it sounds nuts that we have those but its so fun…who says that socializing is only for dogs…

…He didn’t really officially have a name and the next morning we were watching the show “How it’s Made” and they were talking about Eddy Currents and Steve just starting calling the little runty ,Eddie Current….it struck us as sooo hilarious!!  It sounds like a 70’s Rockstar or something.  I’m not sure if his mom is going to stick with it or not, but that’s his name to us…hehe.  Anyhoo, I figured he deserved a post!!!

…This was Turtles most of the night…not impressed one bit.

…eeek, Sunday is almost over. oh deary, I have no idea where the weekend went.

I haven’t submitted for awhile to the awesome Shadow Shot meme hosted by the super cool Hey Harriet…not that I haven’t wanted to, but you know how life goes…

…So, here are my babies (of course).  I couldn’t pick just one, so I decided to include both my totally amazing fur children.

…I walked into my husband’s office/studio today to look down to “What The”… I totally cracked up.  Tuna is such a cute little weirdo.  She just looked at me like I was the “one” out of place. She was just in the tupperware bin, staring into space. 

…I took this one a little while ago of Turtles…It was mostly dark but my husband was holding up his Nintendo DS, so there was some light on his precious face…hence the glowing.

*** So we made it to our destination Family, but we ended up getting lost in Quebec somehow and it took us like 17 hours instead of 12...blech. We were WIPED when we finally arrived...and the kitties cramped, poor things.  But we arrived safely, that is the main thing. So Christmas is creeping up on us...less than a week away....eeeeek.
