Happy Friday and Weekend!!!


**My husb and I are taking a 12 hour drive (and back) to Ottawa,Ontario on Sunday to be there for Monday morning.  We found a Place!!!  But we still have to go through all the application,credit&criminal checks yada yada,etc.  We will be taking over a lease that is up in March or April, so its nice if we don't like it,we can get another spot...we don't have to stay a whole year. Its short walking distance to the college, shopping, and get this IKEA!!! I have never stepped foot in one and am pumped from what people say.  Its in a shoe box apartment building which I'm not a huge fan of..but its all updated with hardwood flooring and the walls are not white, which I pleased about.  Plus, they take KITTIES!!
So I'm gathering lots of cd's for our massive road trip.  Any suggestions for some good tuneage??

Yay! It's Friday!  Hope everyone has a super fun yum weekend!

** For anyone that was following what is going on with me,moving and school,etc...We still haven't found a place in Ottawa and the government didn't make their decision yet for paying for my course(they take forever at everything)-which started this past Tuesday.  It looks like I won't be taking the Documentary Production course, maybe meant to be...who knows. My husbie's Prof.Illustration course starts in January so I am scouring all the other possibles and trying to figure out what to take. 

Ahhh-Motorcycle...Ahhh-We are Free

I don't know about you, but one of my daydreams I've had for years has been to be in an all girl motorcycle gang. I know its never going to happen, its mere fantasy, but I just picture pulling up to some old gas station or run-down restaurant movie style with dust flying and tumbleweeds rollin' and cool tunes a blasting soundtrack style, with a bunch of girls on bikes, and well its just like the coolest image EVER. There is something so fun,cool,empowering and pure utter Rock'N'Roll about this silly little fantasy. I adore cool rocker style ala Joan Jett and that is kinda the look I picture, and well it just plain rocks.

Have any of you ever driven a motorcycle?? I have a few times, most important time being when my pops drove me down the aisle to get hitched...what a rush! There is something sooo free and exhilirating about driving on a motorbike...highly reccommended.

Got your Goat

So,I went on a bit of a goat tangent this afternoon after reading this article on the Tower of Baahbel in Illinois. I love seeing goat climbin' structures randomly on sides of roads,I just adore watching the goats climbing so up so high. I guess they get it from their Mountain Goat Ancestors.
All the goats which I've ever come into contact with have been extremely people friendly,but they are quite the piggies-I must say. They love to chew on Everything and I remember being a kid and having half my favorite sweater sleeves eaten up and in a fit of giggles cause they wouldn't leave me alone.
Its funny how the goat head is a satanic symbol...I suppose its something to do with the horns,never really looked into it. I think they're pretty cute anyhow, especially pygmy goats. Any of you have any goat experiences?? I know... kinda random but you must know how I roll by now.

Happy Friday Time.

I'm busy,busy,busy getting stuff done..we might be moving 12 hours away in like a week. We are moving to Ottawa,Ontario for college,my husband is taking a Professional Illustration course starting in January and I applied for the Documentary Production course which starts September 8th. I would LOVE to take that course as I am a complete and utter documentary junkie, but I do not have experience in the field or have gone to college yet, not having a clue what I wanted to do... it says you require at least one of those two things. I have worked a couple summers back in an animation studio so hopefully that counts for something. So I applied and am climbing the walls..one other thing is I am trying to get a program that the Government pays for most of the course and you remain on unemployment. Its just freaking me out a tad cause they NEED to make their decision fast. I am also trying to get our apartment lined up which is being more difficult than it should be, and we have to move all our stuff, and kitties and eeeeeekkkk...its a lot for the ol' brain. It'll come together the way it should,I'm sure of it...it just can be stressful when you have no control over certain aspects and you want to be in the driver's seat of it all.
Wow...that was quite a rant, don' blame ya if you didn't read it...HA.
