Ode to the Butterfly

…I don’t know if I’m just losing it, but this spring seems to have bred an outright explosion of butterflies. Last week I would be driving and literally passing by hundreds of thousands of butterflies along my route, going every which way. They took over, and Man it was lovely. I never recall in all my springs ever seeing this many. Maybe I have become more observant with age?! And this is just a really normal spring thing. Has anyone else noticed this where they live?
…I adore seeing them, their colors and designs are so insanley beautiful, and there is something inexplicably inspiring about these flamboyant winged insects. I am really enjoying Spring. I think officially this year I am declaring it my favorite season. Between the birds, the bees, the butterflies and all the plants and flowers coming to life- it’s amazing and it feels good to be alive.
… sorry kitties, but I hope you were unsuccessful in your hunt. ;)

…I’m making like these kitties and jumping into the weekend with pure joy & excitement. What a Week!!! I have it off and we’re experiencing some very mild spring weather, so can’t wait to enjoy it! I need to unwind hard and de-stress with some nature and kitty cuddles. Hope you all have a Stupendous Weekend!!!! ^___^

…I have decided to only do this post when I have the weekend off. I think that’s fair, or is it selfish?! Not sure…but I am certainly happy to have the weekend off!!!! so I had to celebrate with a post. I know I don’t post as often as I used to or even as much as I like, but I still love to when I do. I’m not going to stress about it anymore and quit with the annoying apologetic nonsense, and just keep it casual and natural. Thanks for all that still visit and for your patience. ^___^
