…eee…I just love seeing this pose. I’ve only ever seen dogs do it, but was pleasantly surprised to find some kitties that pull this amphibious sprawl as well. From my experience it seems the dogs I know that like to splat like a frog are in fact cooling themselves off on a sweltering day. I seen a few froggy splats this morning at the doggy daycare I work at, due to the heat, which urged me to search for other cuties pulling the same maneuver.

THese are so cute! I have two cats that "straddle" the back of the couch. And our little Pommy always flop his legs outward like this!
