…one thing that I love love love about summer is fresh, crunchy, delicious garden fresh vegetables! I find I appreciate them now more then ever. I love how fresh, healthy and how beautiful all the colors are. There is something so wonderful about seeing them all on display at farmer’s markets that is just not the same as seeing them at the grocery store.

…I tried my hand at a tiny flower bed size garden this year. I was a total newb and wasn’t overly successful. The green beans and peas grew pretty good and I’ve eaten quite a few of them, but now are suffering since I couldn’t take care of them while away for 10 days, so they unfortunately were neglected and are kind of in a dead mode, I hope they spring back to life with proper care. Only ONE carrot grew, LOL…and I planted quite a few of them, but BOY was it ever delicious. I hope more spring up, who knows…     

…There is something so rewarding about eating veggies you planted yourself.  Do any of you lovely peeps have a garden?  I’m sure there are a trillion gazillion of others that love the season of freshness just like me!! :D  And Don’t get me started on the FRUIT!!!! …that would need to involve a whole other post. ;)

…It is SO HOT here today, the humidity is horrendous. sticky icky. Our kitties are just kind of blobbing around the house. poor beebingtons. I think our household needs some ice cream…and No, Frozen Yoghurt is just not the same. ;)

…little bit of a chipmunk tangent, sorry folks but c’mon, them and their stuffing their faces is beyond adorable and they look like such little dorks.  Kitties are best kept behind closed doors when chipmunks are involved, you don’t wanna see the other photos I’ve seen…:(  I’m definitely craving some nuts now.

I had a job interview today (Yes, i am still unemployed).  I think I have a good chance…its good cause I will be a sub-contractor and I would set up my own home office and I can claim all my gas, set my own hours etc etc, plus it involves working with animals, dog walking, pet sitting ( GETTING EXERCISE which I need hard), etc etc.  I have quite a few years experience in the industry, so I definitely qualify.  I have been job searching for so long and offices and most other jobs just don’t do it for me.  I unfortunately don’t qualify for the government to pay for me to go back to school, so I will put that on hold for now.  The thought of taking out a huge loan to go back makes me cringe, I need to think more on that…it might be worth it, but I’ll wait it out a bit to be completely dead on serious.
