I adore chucks and have since I sported my first pair of green and purple California Raisins high tops when I was little. I tend to like the "brand name" converse the best, but have no issues with sporting no-names and ripoffs. I remember being in elementary school and being made fun of for wearing chucks (and no, they weren't the california raisin ones..:P)...and in the last few years everybody and their dog have been wearing them...arrggghhh, thats the story of my life. Anyhoo, these chucks designed by Darl Van Wouw are pretty nutty, cool looking but how wearable??
...thinking back on my sweet California Raisins sneaks got me a bit nostalgic...silly raisins.
