…I have two things in common with these kitties. Can you guess?! hehe…alright, alright …we are pregnant and have been suffering with insane fatigue. I might as well announce it on my blog, plus it makes for an excellent excuse for my utter slackness. I am 13 weeks pregged. I think I am finally starting to get over my crazy, ridiculous need for numerous naps a day phase, of the first trimester. I have to be thankful for no morning sickness. I would of been wreck otherwise.
So ya, that’s that. My husband and I are pretty excited. We have been through many emotions from scared poopless to happy as a clam. I think that’s normal.
Baby is due December 26. 0_0
Should be quite the time around Christmas. We are moving to Prince Edward Island for September, which is 14+ hours away from here, so we can be closer to family, etc. I was born there and want to go back. SO excited, it is so beautiful there. I am just glad I am starting to get my energy back, so cleaning and packing won’t be so difficult. So lots of crazy changes ahead. I will be in and out when I can!
Thanks to any of you that might still peep to see if there are any new posts…much appreciated. Miss you!!! :)

cardboard eatin’ kitties
…mmm…cardboard. Apparently a lot of cats just love it. so weird..haha..My big kitty (blog header)Turtles just loves to drill his teef right into boxes. I can hear his teeth crunching on through the cardboardy goodnes from a mile away. It oddly enough sounds really cute, and the teeth marks left behind are also pretty adorable.

…We moved into our new house (duplex) on the weekend. Yay! My husband, myself and our two kitties absolutely love the new place. The cats adjusted quickly & excellently, in fact they are having the time of their lives..hehe. We feel right at home. It’s really nice, big but cozy with oodles of character. We are going to be living in piles of boxes for awhile though..we don’t have much time to unpack with our working hours, but that will come. And we did the moving ourselves along with some friends (Thanks Friends) and we are sooo sore. What was sweet was the fact our new place is on the main floor, so no stairs!!! That made a huge difference, but we moved from a 3rd floor- so that is where the pain comes from. Stairs and Moving is NOT FUN.
I will be very sporadic with posting and visiting because there is just sooooo much to do, and I still have to go back and clean the other place….dread…ughh..
Happy Week Everyone!!!
TGIF Kitties

…Hey!! How is Everyone??? I hope super swell! It is FRIDAY!!! I am so relieved. Yesterday, I literally worked from 730-330, than came home and worked 4-11pm. NUTS. So am I ever happy it’s the weekend…however my weekend will consist of packing…ugghh…I will however sleep in…eeee…is that sad that that is what I adore most about the weekends?! nawww….bed and comfy time = Awesome! especially with kitties. ;)
I hope everyone has an incredible weekend, whatever it is you have in store!!!
Unpacking and Squirrely

So we pulled off the big mother of a move over the weekend, and let's just say there is LOTS left to do. I am just slowly picking away and unpacking stuff...the place is a touch chaotic and messier than I like it at the moment. There is a cute little 2 bedroom apartment under here, somewhere.
It's so crazy how much one can accumulate over the years. I thought I threw a lot of stuff out, but man oh man, its never-ending. I have discovered that I am a major collector of scarves, picture frames, weird dolls and knick knacks up the ying yang. Oh,and the books..did I mention the books?!? My husbs and I are major book collectors, he collects mainly art books and comics and I collect books on pretty much any subject-ranging from books about cats and animals in general, books on photography and art, shite loads of fiction, graphic novels and a big favorite for me are vintage children's books. We need to purchase more book shelves in a hurry!!!!!
We also need a few other essentials- a couch (we left ours behind),a dresser,a desk and mostly bigger stuff that wasn't too special that we just didn't want to lug.
Do you guys have a lot of stuff?? I envy people that are minimalists. I am by no means a hoarder, but I do like to collect certain things and wow, it really adds up.

Our kitties did great on the 15 hour trip,I was probably more worried about them than I needed to be. They handled it like kitty pros.
On another little topic, where we moved is Ottawa,Ontario -Canada. It is beautiful. There are huge trees all over the place and everywhere you look you see squirrels and not just regular squirrels but BIG Black Squirrels. I have never even seen one in my life before I moved here...I'm used to the little ginger squirrels. They are such happy creatures, they just frolick about everywhere, They remind me of squirrels from Disney cartoons. Anyhoo, sorry my crazy blabbage...here's a few cutie pies...

*** Just found out that near Ottawa's Parliament Buildings downtown, there is a cat sanctuary! There are a bunch of little buildings built for the cats and they are fed everyday...the black squirrels can be found munching away on the food set out for the cats...hopefully they get along okay. I will have to go take a peek soon!

I'll be a little out of the loop for the next while. We are doing the Huge Move, leaving here at 6am Friday morning with a car and a U-Haul and arriving between 8pm-9pm to our new home. Its going to be a busy time but very exciting..I hope my kitties can handle it.
**I've been hooked to this song by the Danish band Mew. Its such an amazingly pretty tune and so very addicting.
So Nice.

I absolutely ADORE these handmade shoes from the husband/wife team that is spirocreations. I must get me some.
** Had a crazy weekend lugging, dragging, lifting and throwing boxes and awkward furniture down flights of stairs, around corners while sweating profusely, etc. I am completely wiped and totally just having a chill day.
