…I am a HUGE music fan. or at least I was up until recently. I’m not saying I hate it now or anything, but for the past year I haven’t been much into it. I used to be the type that was OBSESSED with discovering new & old independent bands, cranking tunes at all times, going out to rock shows, making mixes like crazy; to share with my buddies my fav songs and bands. I don’t know if it this is just a phase (it must be), an age thing, or what, but I prefer a lot of the time, silence to music. and I also listen to a lot of talk radio lately, it’s like I would rather be learning than bobbing my head. And instead of listening to music when I clean like I used to, I put on a documentary. It actually kind of scares me. I miss how music used to make me feel, and I try, I really do…but I cannot bring myself to get into it like before.
Has anyone else been through this type of phase before? Am I nuts?!

p.s.- I hope none of them got too hurt..geez. I hate hearing cat fights outside, they can sound so vicious. Play fighting between cats is totally different then when they mean business, probably tom cats fighting for their territory. I think if I seen this I would run in the middle to try and break it up.

i hope you are all having a great week so far. i have oodles of posts up my sleeves but i keep putting them off. i am very busy with work (one of them is at home..woohoo) and a bit in procrastination mode, so my apologies for lack of everything lately, ughs!!! since one of my jobs is sitting in front of a computer for hours on end, it makes me not want to sit in front of it as much when i’m off. you know how you get in that kind of internet zombie mode where you barely blink…eeek. well anyways just thought i’d check in. miss ya’s! xo

…Tonight my baby sister (She’s 18) is taking off to live and work in Jamaica for a few months!!! What a lucky girl she is. Getting out of Canada just in time for Winter…Argghh…hehe
…Anyways I am so proud of her and excited for her, She is just going for it. Apparently she is going to be living at this Guest house in the Blue Mountains half hour outside Kingston, in Real Jamaica, not the Fake Resort Jamaica that most people visit. She did her research, emailed a bunch of people that stayed there and made sure it’s in a safe part, etc. She is helping the owner open up a cafe, they make their own coffee and the owner is apparently a gourmet chef with his own little farm. Wowzers, What an Experience!!!
Has anyone ever been?? What is it like?
P.S.- This Jamaican tour guide has such a hilarious laugh!!! It starts @ :57. It kills me.

…it’s impossible not to when you watch this video. It’s crazy how contagious laughter can be. I want to get my paws on this program, I would probably have a pretty similar reaction she did….Okay, maybe not as crazy. Love it!! :D
