…I seen this painting by Kelli Murray on Etsy this evening. and it made me melt. Isn’t it just the sweetest?! I carry my kitty girl Tuna around like this often. This picture makes me want to go scoop her up from her nap to get some shoulder love snuggles in. Kitties really are the sweetest…sigh…

…there seems to be a mass amount of groundhogs where I live in Ottawa, Canada. I am not accustomed to this phenomena, being from the East Coast. But I absolutely ADORE seeing them. They are so cute and hilarious to watch. They all seem to stand up on their hind legs and just stare for extended periods, and I just have to giggle every time I see them standing…they just look so dead serious, you wonder what they could possibly be pondering. And It’s like you expect them to saunter off on their two legs. I’ve talked to some locals and I don’t think they feel the same way I do..as they are very used to them & groundhogs tend to get into gardens, etc. I have a cat that poops in my garden, obviously I don’t hold it against the species. :P I love all creatures. most. We were up close to a groundhog yesterday and he was eating dandelions WHOLE, in one gulp..it was incredible.

…My kitty Turtles used to do similar moves to this, but in slow-mo. I called this mode he would get into “Egyptian Demonic”. It suits his actions perfectly, trust me.
Weekend is just around the bend. yay!
…Sunsets can be so awe-inspiring. Last night my husband and I went for a drive and seen one of the most beautiful sunsets I’d ever seen. We wanted a better view so followed it and drove down by the water, where it was even more gorgeous with the light rippling water and reflection. I just find myself feeling so at peace when there is a pretty sunset across the sky. I just love the lighting it gives everything. Those natural vibrant colors can take your breath away. I wish they would last longer, you really have to be out at that perfect time of night and savour every second. Kitties seem to enjoy them too. It looks like they also get that peaceful feeling while watching the sky.
